Rita was born in Glasgow, Scotland and her first move was to Geneva, Switzerland, where she lived for five years. She then lived in London for three years before coming to Vancouver - and has never left.
Light is the major quality she tries to capture in her paintings – her mantra is "Sunlight on Paper".
